In Aug 2021, the 1st show I saw coming out of COVID was Blues Traveler at the South Shore, MA Music Tent. I took my dad. John and crew rocked the house. They were tight in their grooves and loose with their jams, channeling the magic I remembered from my teens. That show inspired me to paint this dynamic frontman in all his harmonica-blowing glory!
As a teenager (during the 90s ) I was a big Blues Traveler fan, catching them live nearly a dozen times, before they hit mainstream radio and after. The H.O.R.D.E Festival, created by John Popper, was an amazing, regular summer excursion for me and my buddies for years. I caught so many great artists at that festival. Popper and Blues Traveler never disappointed live and their catalog remains strong to me to this day (the album Save His Soul is a hidden gem most people have never heard.) Go see Blues Traveler in concert. You won't be disappointed!
